Photo Sessions

Give me the great outdoors, some enthusiastic and nature loving souls and I'm good to go! Let's capture some dreamy portraits in our favorite spots whether it's the mountains, prairie, a cute shop downtown or the spot you had your first date or proposed!

the good life

All my sessions are 2 hours, 1-3 photo spots within 1 general location with a minimum of 100 digital images available on an online gallery to download, order high-quality prints & photo products and a personal printing release. Locations outside of Fort Collins, CO require a travel and/or permit fee. Certain federal lands require an extra fee to obtain a photo permit. Half of full payment is required to reserve your date and session.

How It Works

step one

step two

step three

All the photos you receive from your shoot are all the pieces to the puzzle! Any extra photos I have from your shoot are either exact replicas (from continuous shooting) where someone may be blinking, scratching their eye, fixing their hair, talking mid sentence or testing the light and settings - nothing you'd miss. Sometimes I give you a few more images because I do believe you should get every great shot we took. Not a shot gets left behind or unseen. Raw files will also not be provided to any session.

Absolutely! I love venturing to new and familar places. For areas outside of Fort Collins, a travel fee will be required. Examples are Vedauwoo is $40, Denver is $40, Estes Park is $50, Rocky Mountain National Park is $50 (top of Trail Ridge mountain-top area is $100), and Lake Marie in Snowy Range Lodge is $50. Travel fees are based on distance, parking permits, photography permits required and elements at the time.

Can I get all the images from the shoot?

Do you travel?

Galleries take 2-3 weeks in off season and 4-6 weeks in summer/fall. I love to send sneak peeks 24-48 hours after that you're welcome to share!

Hell yes! I love photographing pets of all kinds! Just a heads up to always have your leash on hand and that national parks have strict rules about where pets can be such as only on pavement and never on grass/trails.

How long will photos take?

Can I bring my dog to a session?

From beginning to end. But at the same time, I don't want to overly direct you. Some of my favorite images are from "in-between moments" where couples weren't purposely posing but laughing, walking, snuggling, being silly or just standing side by side like partners in crime. Trust the process and let go and realize the simplicity in just being together and how gorgeous that in itself can be. I also love to play music during our session and I make a complete fool of myself to help put you at ease more often than not.

Will you tell me how to pose?

FAQs

Talking for hours and dozing off with the tv on. The record skips a few times and we pick a new song to fall asleep to. Morning coffee, a few minutes late to work, a brisk walk down the street window shopping for the upcoming fall season. Wool sweaters, bare trees, cold nights.

Question 8

So cold we can see our breath as we hike the open fields in the fog. Climbing and chasing waterfalls while the sun sets behind the mountain and the snow falls in the river. Chatting with locals while we sip our coffee and head out for the next adventure.

Question 7

Morning coffee and reading the newspaper together, the cool fall breeze blowing through the window as you pour another cup. Black denim and leather boots, the deepest crimson flannel. Rose gold and velvet. Rich and lush. Red wine and dark twilight nights.

Question 6

Cozy sweaters, vintage demin, and Pabst while telling one of a kind love stories. The trials and tribulations of love, joy, and happiness. Lastly, champagne brunch and avocado toast while surrounded by the finest exposed brick, dreamcatchers, and maps to our souls.
