For years I’ve daydreamed of photographing an elopement in Iceland. And my prayer to the universe was answered by Amy and Kolt. They were both so fantastic to photograph (so amazing on another level, you have no idea) and I’m forever grateful for their trust in me and allowing us to film their elopement adventure with Jarret alongside me. This was my 4th trip to Iceland and I knew these spots well, so I helped plan our day together and the sun and clouds could not have been more perfect for us when the winter snow luckily decided to stop the day before we landed.

If you’re wondering if I’d go back to photograph an elopement, I would in a heartbeat. <3

We began our morning in Hofn with getting ready, then vows at Vestrahorn Mountain, followed by Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach, Kirkjubæjarklaustur, Vik, Reynisdrangar Beach, Dyrhólaey Cliff, Skogafoss and then ended our time in Hella, Iceland.
