Shannon and Michael had a stunning ceremony at St. Theresa of Avila Church in West Roxbury, MA (the same cathedral Shannon’s parents and grandmother had their wedding) and then the most incredibly fun reception at Granite Links Country Club in Quincy, MA. When I say it was a blast, I mean it – it was a freaking blast and I couldn’t get enough of photographing all of her amazing friends and family. The fact that I got the honor of capturing their wedding day was actually decades in the making for me because my love for the film Titanic led me here. You see, since I was a child I knew I wanted a Titanic tattoo because it sparked a huge love for me in cinema, storytelling and so on. So at 19, I finally had “make it count” tattooed on my wrist. Well, Shannon’s cousin Brittany Butler ALSO had the same tattoo and that’s how we met thanks to the magic of the internet and years later she recommended me and I could not be more grateful because Shannon and Michael and seriously the raddest. This day will surely be hard to beat and one for the books.
